A peaceful day on Ometepe. Read my book in a hammock, took a stroll into town, watched people go about their daily lives, witnessed school boys and girls flirting after school was let out, had delicious coffee and coconut cookie, recharged my batteries.

Get up Stand up Nicaragua
Pictures of Recently Enjoyed Things
Nice spot to sit in Hotel Jungle.
Grenada, Nicaragua. Sister city of Antigua. Cobbled streets and bright colonial buildings - photographers paradise.
Abbey Road, Nicaragua.
Kathy you did yourself proud. Banana waffles with bacon on the side made the green eyed monster of jealousy come out. My omelette was darn good too however.
...and ended badly. Not a nice boat experience whatsoever - water crashing in so much so umbrellas were needed, a very bumpy ride and a very bilious stomach. An entire Nicaraguan family threw up one by one around me. They shouldn't have drunk that strawberry milk before, that's for sure.
