Panama City in pictures

Day 1: Casco Viejo / Old Town. Beautiful streets filled with crumbling buildings and a heck of a lot of churches for such a small place.

Drive to Portobelo. Rained the entire time. And when I say rain, I mean rain - none of this so called rain that we love to moan about back home. Still, always a silving lining - Lucas' imagined scenario of pirates invading was even more dramatic with the weather.

Panama Canal - I agree, very impressive. Not sure it warrants the gleeful woops that were emenating from the tour in front of us (given that the water empties and fills at snail speed) but we enjoyed it all the same and got into the spirit...or one of us did!

San Lorenzo forts.

Day 2: Back in Casco Viejo. Iced coffee to start a hot day off. Happy Maddy.

'I love your skin'

Mecado de Mariscos. Best fish market I've been to in a while. Fresh ceviche on the cheeeaaap.

A thousand degrees outside, obviously I needed to cool down with a coconut & dulce de leche ice-cream.

Flying to the mountains tonight. Coffee tour tomorrow :)
