Bura Vida

A very happy first day in Honduras. We treated today in Copan as Emma's birthday so for celebrations we went horse riding and spent the afternoon at a nice hotel swimming pool. Add some reggae and rum and you've pretty much got our perfect day encompassed. (Sadly there was no reggae and rum but there was George Michael and beer).

Our horses were a dream -so gentle and responsive but man did they like to run. At any given moment they would run like the wind. Gareth the show off would gallop off into the distance and my darling horse would think it was a really fun game and take chase.

Safe to say we were sufficiently sweaty and hot after 2 hours and the pool was calling us. Hammocks, guacamole and flopping into cold water was just what the doctor ordered.

13 hour night bus/ boat tonight. Roatan better be worth it. "Back to the island" -bring on the rum and reggae.
