Buenos Aires: San Telmo & La Boca

Arrived early, unsure whether my freezing bones were due to tiredness or the Argentinian winter. Reunited with the marvellous Vicky with a few yelps and hugs before heading out to La Tortoni for a much needed coffee. No time to wash the plane smell off me, opted instead to walk from Montserrat, through San Telmo to La Boca (3 layers and scarf at the ready). When in doubt we just followed the football supporters en route to the Boca game. The sun came out for us which was incredibly decent of it, taking the edge off the icy breeze and brightening up the streets beautifully.

Disclaimer - a lot of pictures of colourful buildings coming up.

Got el Subte (underground) to La Bomba de Tiempo that might, a pretty impressive drumming show in a disused warehouse. Some asshole stole my phone which put a slight dampener on the night but trying to remember it's just material.

Buenos Aires, from what I've seen you are a beautiful city. Looking forward to seeing what you have to offer today.
